![]() Even though “Ignition (Remix)” and “Never Let You Go” will probably remind me of my time here, they aren’t allowed to compete for spots. The song had to be released during our time here at Umass. There have been countless songs released over the past four years that will be inseparable from my experiences at Umass, but I created a list of the top 25 songs that will always remind me of downtown Amherst, Puffton Village, campus on that first beautiful day in Spring, and of course, dirty frat basements. One of the great aspects of music is how a song, or even the first chords or first words of a song, can be so intertwined with people, places and experiences. I’m not sure I’ll be playing “Levels” in a nursing home, or whether “Teenage Dream” will still have its allure at seventy, but overall, I feel pretty good about the music I listened to over my four years at Umass. ![]() They say that the music you listen to during the years in college is the music you listen to the rest of your life. ![]()
